Elevators

Carolina Health Morehead has two passenger elevators and one service elevator. 

All elevators are designed for efficient operation. In the unlikely event that the elevators become inoperable, please instruct your staff and patients to first use the emergency telephone located inside each elevator cab. The telephones are connected to the 24-hour emergency switchboard. A building engineer or elevator technician will be dispatched immediately to assist you. In addition, there is an emergency bell that may be pushed to alert the building staff of any problems. 

Parking

There is a parking deck with six levels located adjacent to the building provided for both patients and staff on the premises of Morehead Medical Plaza. The building is located off of East Morehead Street and is on the Atrium-Main Hospital campus.

Elevator lobbies are located on the Morehead Medical Drive side of the deck with four elevators provided. There are three stairwells located in the deck. There is a covered and climate controlled Sky Bridge located on the third floor which provides access to the Morehead Medical Plaza building.

Parking for Staff:  There is a dedicated staff entrance/exit to the deck via Kenilworth Avenue or Morehead Street. Please contact the Management Office if you would like to request this access. Staff parking  requests will be handled through the Atrium Security Office.

If you have valet service, please use the following language: Morehead Medical Plaza offers complimentary valet parking.  The valet stand is located by the front main entrance of the building.
